buy provigil pills Let’s be honest, each and every one of us has a sweet-tooth, at least occasionally. I’m not crazy about sweet things, but time to time I do like to have something sweet. I’ve always loved baking, and currently I mostly bake for special occasions and for my kids. Having said that, it’s very important for me that my kids follow a healthy diet from an early age. I believe that when you introduce healthy eating to your kids from the beginning, they will naturally eat healthy later on in life as well.…

Chocolate Tartlets with Cream Filling Hello again, everyone! I know it’s been a very long time since my last blog post, but please hear me out, I have a very good reason.

The last three months have been the toughest three months I can remember. Not only have I been taking care of two growing toddlers, but I’ve also been carrying a new baby in my belly. That’s right, I’m pregnant again.

Raw Lemon and Vanilla Coconut Balls

I remember a time when I used to always find some energy balls in my fridge. But now it’s been a while since the last time I made some. I somehow needed a break from them for a bit. But this weekend I felt like making a batch again. I didn’t want to follow my usual recipe but to rather change things around a bit in order to try something new and fresh.

So I came up with these raw lemon and vanilla coconut balls, and I have to say that they turned out amazing.…

Apple and Cinnamon Loaf

I’m a real sucker for Christmasy flavors and scents and I often create combinations, which could be mistaken for something that belongs to a Christmas table, when in facts it’s the middle of summer. I just love the mix of various spices, like cinnamon, cardamom, ginger and clove, especially when you use them with apples.

Now, let me share with you my delicious, easy-to-make, super healthy, gluten, dairy and refined sugar free apple and cinnamon loaf, which could be served as a cake with coffee, as a snack (my kids love it) or even as breakfast (I love it).…

Creamy Dairy-free Vanilla Ice Cream

The summer has officially begun, at least in Cyprus, and with the warm weather comes the desire to eat cooling foods, especially ice cream. But as I do want to make all the foods I eat as healthy as possible, dairy ice cream is out, while vegan ice cream is totally in. And everyone loves it, even my dairy-eating husband and kids who much prefer my healthy and delicious dairy-free ice cream over any store-bought sugar-packed ice cream. That makes me very happy.…

Fruity Oat and Nut Cereal Bars

Snacks are big in my household at the moment. Maybe it’s because it’s so hot and you tend to feel less inclined to eat big meals when it’s scorching outside. Or maybe it’s simply because they’re just too darn good.

This cereal bar recipe is an absolute favourite at the moment. They’re such a great snack and they go down a storm every single time. In addition to being great as an afternoon pick-me-up, they also work perfect as breakfast on the run, maybe with a smoothie or a coffee or tea.…

Banana Carob Ice Cream

Summer has finally arrived, at least here in Cyprus, and it’s time for some cooling and refreshing healthy treats, which for me and my family often come in the form of ice cream.

I just love ice cream. I’m not talking about store-bought, sugar-packed dairy ice cream, but rather my homemade, dairy-free banana ice cream. I can guarantee you that once you try making your own ice cream, using the best and healthiest ingredients, you don’t want to go back to ready-made, processed ice cream again.…

Berry Protein Bites

On hot days when you don’t feel like eating much but feel like you need some extra energy, these little protein bites are the best thing. Now that the weather is slowly starting to heat up, these have become my absolute go-to snack. With very minimal ingredients, you can have yourself some delicious and super nutritious treats.

Makes about 18 balls:

2 dl almonds
8 medjool dates
2 tbsp berry powder of choice (*)
1 tbsp hemp protein
1 tbsp maca powder
hint of salt

Start by crushing the almonds in a food processor as fine as possible.…

Raw Blueberry Cake

Would you believe me if I told you that cake could actually be good for you and benefit your health? You should. And if you don’t, keep on reading.

I love cakes, almost as much as I love making them. It’s somehow therapeutic to create something that tastes as good as it looks. This is especially true when it comes to raw cakes, as they have to rely on the pure form of the ingredients. For me raw cakes are the perfect sweet treat to make for a special occasion, but they’re also my go-to when I want to spoil my family and friends.…

Mulberry Toffee

This is the perfect recipe for anyone who likes toffee but doesn’t like the sugar and butter that usually come with it. I came up with this toffee recipe because I wanted to create sweets that can actually benefit the health, and I think I succeeded.

These mulberry sweets are real power treats due to all the beautiful ingredients. Mulberries are a great source of iron and vitamins C and K; acai berries are extremely high in anthocyanins, a form of plant antioxidant associated with the ability to lower cholesterol levels in the blood stream; raw cacao is full of antioxidants, magnesium and B vitamins; and chia seeds are a powerhouse for manganese, magnesium, phosphorus, calcium and fiber.…
